JOB DESCRIPTION:

STATIC SPECIALIST:

should have technical support skills, site visits activities, give work instructions, safety preparations, critical assessment, rigging study in addition to any other related job assigned by planning manager.

STATIC PLANNER:

should plan all static equipment, take care of all site verifications, prepare hot bolting and scaffolding activity, material and contractor coordination, prepare all document related to (development, rigging ETC.,) , prepare all required report and all related job required from the planning manager

TAR Specialist Static Equipment:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Provide strong technical support to the Planning team in the field of static equipment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible to provide technical support to TAR Planners in the development of the detailed planning of static equipment included in the turnaround scope.
• Along with the TAR Planner, make the necessary site visits to review and evaluate on site the maintainability of those most difficult and complicated works.
• Prepare general and specific Works Instructions for the different types of static equipment.
• Advice on the preparation of JSA’s, Work Instructions and Lifting Plan for the works under turnaround scope.
• Actively participate is the assessment of the critical and sub-critical works to minimize their overall durations, as well as, to establish contingency plans to mitigate the impact of eventual emergent works that could impact those critical works.
• Assist to TAR Planner in identifying critical lifting operations which will require a comprehensive rigging study.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the TAR Planning Manager.

Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

Minimum 12-15 year’s maintenance and turnaround experience in an oil and gas

context with at least 10 years’ experience in execution of maintenance and inspection of

static equipment.

Skills:

• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a diversified and critical environment.
• Data analysis and report writing skills.
• Attention to details.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Must have strong knowledge of maintenance practices.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.

TAR Static Planner:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Develop the Detailed Planning, for static equipment included in the turnaround scope.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for the planning function of all approved static equipment jobs

included in the turnaround scope.

• Make a site visit to verify scope of work and location of the work, access needed,

lifting requirement, insulation removal.

• Identify turnaround activities, estimate resources, durations, establish precedence,

as the main input for the scheduling.

• Identify needs of assisted access (scaffolding, man-lifter), insulation removal as

preparative activities for the static equipment related works. Notify to the

Scaffolding Planner

• Identify flanged joints to be hot-bolting during the pre-turnaround phase; prepare

hot-bolting plan.

• Field tagging for the proper identification of the locations of the different static

equipment works, which shall include blinds and valves locations.

• Work along with Material Planner and Warehouse personnel to do the Bag and Tag

of the material requested for each Work Order, as part of the Pre-Turnaround

activities.

• Work closely with the execution contractor to ensure his complete familiarization

and commitment with the turnaround plan, which will be a key factor for the

success of the turnaround.

• Prepare Work Instructions, Lifting Plans for the static equipment works under

turnaround scope.

• Identify critical lifting operations to aquire a comprehensive rigging study.

• Assembly the Work Packages which shall include: work scope, plan, schedule,

resources, scaffolding plan, BOM, blinds list, drawings, Work Instructions, JSA,

cost estimate, i.e. all deliverables to be included in the Work Package.

• Collect actual progress activity-wise during the execution phase of the

turnaround and update the data planning.

• Prepare post-turnaround report upon completion of the whole turnaround.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the TAR Planning Manager / Leader

Education: B.Sc. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

Minimum 8 years maintenance and turnaround experience in an oil and gas context with

at least 5 years experience in a turnaround planning role.

Skills:

o Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.

o Experience in turnaround planning practices.

o Planning and performance management.

o Communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a diversified and critical environment.

o Data analysis and report writing skills.

o Attention to details.

o Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

o Proficient in Primavera.

o Proficient in verbal and written English.
