BENEFITS:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Develop the Lifting Plans for the Turnaround, as well as Equipment Mobilization Plan and Deployment Layout
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• In coordination with the TAR Planner, prepare all rigging studies & lifting plan
required for the safe execution of the turnaround lifting operations.
• Identify critical lifting operations which require a comprehensive rigging study.
• Prepare deployment & mobilization plan of construction, transportation and lifting
equipment to ensure a smooth operation during the turnaround execution.
• Ensures lifting operations are in accordance with the rigging standards, quality,
safety, and security requirements and good practices.
• Support Company on all lifting & rigging related activities during the execution
phase.
• Capable of positively coordinating and communicating with different client
departments and execution contractors and other companies in order to provide
adequate support
• Ensure with execution supervisor a smooth implementation of the lifting plans
through an effective familiarization prior the start date of the works.
• Shall be familiar with reading and understanding engineering drawings and able
to explain the details to the team members.
• Prepare post-turnaround report in relation to Lifting/Rigging activities, upon
completion of the whole turnaround.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the TAR Planning Manager.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in rigging, lifting and transporting in the oil and refining or petrochemical industry with at least 5 years supervisory experience or higher position/ senior role.
Skills:
• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Good capability of reading & understanding technical drawings and reports.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a diversified and critical environment
• Data analysis and report writing skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
