Quantity Surveyor – ELV

            QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENT

1          Diploma in Electronics / ElectricalEngineering.

2          2 to 4 years of relevant workingexperience in similar installation in building.

3          Familiar and able to read electrical,Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and security system drawings.

4          Good understanding of electrical, ELVand security system specifications and contract documents such as Public SectorStandard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).

5          Good knowledge of the ELECTRICAL,ELVSYSTEMS drawing readings.

6          Certificate in Q/S is added advantage.

Job Description:

1          Prepare Quantity Take Off’s fromDrawings , prepare system wise BOQ measurement sheet.

2          Study the Specifications ,Schematics& BOQ to prepare the deviation reports.(Clarifications, RFI’s)

3          Coordinate with Suppliers for gettingthe prices for the materials.

4          Pre-pare Procurement comparison sheet.

5          Prepare Estimation sheet BOQ forCosting.

6          Prepare design schematics, Shopdrawings  preparations ,As built preparation.

7          Preparation of MAS Documents.

8          Preparation of Method Statements.

9          Material procurement request

10        Preparation of O&M Manuals.

11        Strong Communication Skills (writing& Speaking)

12        Technically Strong is ELV Systems (Structured Cabling , Security Systems & Active Network).

            MUSTHAVE SKILLS

1          knowledge of Software tools like Planswift, Dialux, Air magnet, AutoCAD.

2          Strong MS office skills Excel, Powerpoint, Word.

3          knowledge of ELV costing &estimation.
