Assess and reportcontractor compliance with contract Occupational Health, Safety, andEnvironmental requirements.Conductpreconstruction job explanation and kick-off meetings to explain constructionexecution safety requirements per contract scope.Track and analysesKey Performance Indicators for performance improvement opportunities.Develop and conductsafety training.Provide advice andconsultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe workingenvironment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards, andpractices.
Identify and evaluatehazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Undertake surveys toidentify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmentalconditions.Conduct andcoordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe workpractices.Provide advice andcounsel concerning compliance with corporate safety regulation and procedures.Perform constructionsite and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
