QC INSPECTOR

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  • Carried out Inspection, surveillance, monitoring of Structural steel as per the approved inspection and test planrequirement. • Witness procedure qualification (PQR) test as per welding procedure specification (WPS)• Supervise and monitor the day-to-day quality activities.• Perform inspection / monitor the disciplines of Structural, Material, NDT Documentation, and coordination with other QC. Inspectors• Familiar with NDT.• Coordinate for Non-Destructive examination of welds (RT/UT/MT/PT), pressure tests in accordance with approved procedures and QC plans• Preparation of Quality test plan.• Reviewing filler wires and electrodes of welding procedure specification• Checking the Qualification and performance of welding personnel.• Inspecting Pre-heat and Post weld Heat Treatment.• Development and implementation of inspection checklist and report/format.• Co-ordination of all Non-destructive testing at various projects for different clients. • Monitoring of various welding process like GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, SAW.

WELDING INSPECTOR

 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  • Handling Project activities comprising site and workshop Inspection & Readiness, Fabrication Erection,Commissioning, and final steel structure handover with all approval. • Co-ordination with client & consultant and prepare protocols for fabrication & Erection Works for clearance• Prepare & maintain all the related documents of structure Fabrication & Erection, inspection, and handover procedure.• Handling project execution activities involving finalization of technical specification like BOQ & BOM, procurement, scheduling, testing & commissioning, and resource planning• To inspect an Alignment and levelling of body structure like: column, monorail, pipe, roof catenaries, hull, support etc. and also rectify it as per IS code and standards.• Torqueing of mentioned fasteners as per IS 4000 code.• To make a protocol of alignment and Handover of erected structure for Piping or Equipment.• Raising the MIR & WIR to consultant as per ITP. • Coordination with process, Mechanical, Instrument & Electrical departments.• Making protocol for site weld activities, coordinate NDT personal body   

QC ENGINEER & COORDINATOR ( FABRICATION & ERECTION)

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Incoming Material inspection of plate ASTM A516 GR70 and P91 material  • Monitoring the pre-fabrication activities according to the standards followed with QAP.  • Knowledge of RBI (Risk Based Inspection) Software with its applications  • Inspection of Equipment like Pressure vessel, Heat Exchangers, Heater, Valves, Tanks and Boiler.  •  Inspection of TPS Boiler coil replacement and modification activities.  • Inspection of PSV & PRV calibration.  • Welding knowledge of CS, SS, DSS and Alloy Steel.  • Witness of WQT, Hydro test of Equipment and Piping, Pneumatic test, PMI of material, DPT, VT, SR etc.  • Radiography film interpretation (RTFI).  • Receiving documents like inspection test plan, WPS, PQR, P&ID and Isometric drawing etc. for Qualitywork       and validation.  • Inspection witness of Piping Fit Up, Root & Final, Preheat & Post heat, SR and Visual inspection.  •  Inspection witness at Tank M &I, and stage wise inspection.  • Making report pre-monsoon about tanks and offsite piping.  • Work with complying to safety standards and practices in industries  •  Knowledge of Standard & codes ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME SEC-I,ASME SEC-II, ASME SEC-V,         ASME SEC VIII (Div. I, Div II), ASME SEC IX, API650. 

QC INSPECTOR(PIPING&WELDING)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Witnessing welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test (PQR) and reviewing  Welding procedure specification (WPS) in accordance with ASME sec. IX and make sure that welder isqualified for a broad range of jobs. • Isometrics and Drawings check. And dimension check and welding visual inspection. • witness / inspect execution of all site test (hydrostatic) • Randomly inspect manufacturer’s label showing batch number, order number and date ofmanufacture. • Witnessing  of UT,PT,MPI & preparation of NDT reports, hardness survey, thickness survey and stage  by stage weld inspection. • Performed inspection of fit-up and dimensional as per isometric and P&ID. • Line checking with test packages, punch clearing, witness and inspection of hydro testing. • interaction with concern departments and disciplines such as row, stringing, welding, coating,trenching, lowering, ofc & duct laying, backfilling, tie – in , HDD boring, • Cathotic protection installation and hydro testing
