Designation : Estimation Engineer (MEP/HVAC)
Qualifications : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
•6 to 10 years MEP, HVAC, Fire Protection and Fire Suppression System estimation experience in the Oil & Gas Industrial buildings and substations with demonstrated track Record of successful construction bids. Should have In-depth technical knowledge of project execution methodology.
•Must have design and engineering experience of the MEP, HVAC, Fire Protection and Fire Suppression System
•Must be familiar with estimation/ productivity norms for MEP, HVAC Fire Protection and Fire Suppression System.
•Should have experience in estimating EPC / Construction / Maintenance / Turnaround / Shutdown / Brown Field Modification Projects.
•Previous site experience in technical and supervisory capacities, preferably Gulf experience
•Commercial and Contractual knowledge
•Deep technical knowledge of project execution methodology.
Responsibilities
•To work in bid preparation, carry out site survey, co-ordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, subcontracts and other discipline Engineers, sub-contractors and vendors, liaise with client. Attend bid clarification meetings. Responsible to estimate, co-ordinate and complete the bid preparation process prior to the review of the same with the Head of Proposals.
•The candidate should be able to interpret technical document, drawings, scope of work and estimate resources required to carry out MEP, HVAC Fire Protection and Fire Suppression System at Industrial buildings and substation project sites.
•Preparation of tender document technical and commercial queries
•Design of the MEP, HVAC, Fire Protection and Fire Suppression System for building and substations related to tendering purposes
•Conduct detailed review of work contents, BOQs
•Must be able to take off BOQ’s from drawings
Computing Skill
•Proficient in MS Office applications, Excel, Outlook etc.
•Conversant with Primavera and MS Project will be an added advantage.

•Self-confident, with good presentation skills.

LEAD ENGINEER – TELECOM
Qualifications/Experience:
•Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent, in the respective disciplines
•Minimum 10 – 12 years’ experience in engineering related to oil and gas, Petrochemical and infrastructure projects.
Specific skills and knowledge:
•Good communication skills (English), with an ability to explain complex technical information in clear and simple terms.
Personal competencies
•Knowledge of International Codes and Standards and Design Software.
•Proficiency in MS Office Packages – Excel, Word, Power Point.
Primary functions:
1.Responsible for detailed engineering respective to his/her discipline.
2.Responsible for the review of engineering deliverables corresponding to his/her discipline.
3.Assist in the review and evaluation of Engineering Subcontractors and Packaged Vendors for pre-qualification.
4.Contribute to the Engineering Scope Matrix (Split of Responsibilities Matrix) with respect to his/her discipline.
5.Ensure correctness and completeness of engineering deliverables as per Qatar Statutory Regulations, Project Specifications, Material Requisitions, Approved Technical Exception/Deviation List, Datasheets, Standard Drawings, Client Engineering Specifications, Contractual requirements and International Codes and Standards.
6.Review all design basis, data sheet, specification, calculations and drawings from Engineering Subcontractor and Packaged Vendors in line with item-5, Order of Precedence.
7.Perform Inter-Discipline Check (IDC) on documents and drawings, as applicable, in order to minimize the number of revisions and to ensure compliance with the Project Planning Schedule prior to client submission.
8.Submit the reviewed/commented documents to Project Engineering Manager through Workflow Adept software.
9.Ensure that comments, clarifications and queries from Client are promptly attended to with Comments Resolution Sheet (CRS) during the next revision submission
10.Participate in discussions with Client, Engineering Subcontractor and Vendors for technical queries and clarifications respective to his/her discipline in order to comply the client technical and contractual requirements.
11.Participate in FEED Verification, Design Review and Safety Study Workshops, and Engineering Audit during the execution of EPIC projects.
12.Apply ‘Lessons Learned’ from previous projects and that received from Clients and Sub-Contractors.
13.Prepare the initial list of Material Criticality Rating in line with Client Procedure for Material and Criticality Rating for Inspection Level and participate in the workshop along with Client and Engineering Subcontractor, as required.
14.Provide input to Procurement and Subcontract Departments for any technical requirements for all issued RFQs / MRs in the Project.
15.Prepare Vendor Data Transmittal Addendum Sheets for Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
16.Support CONTRACTOR Project and Construction Teams for Field Design Changes and Field Engineering Queries, as required.
17.Participate in the evaluation for verifying pre-qualification of TPCA/TPCI for conducting factory inspection after manufacturing.
18.Provide technical input to stores and ware house for material handling and preservation procedures.
19.Provide Inspection Release Note (IRN) to the vendors after completion of FAT Punches based on written Client approval.
20.Conduct site appraisal and probability studies for project upgradation.
21.Conduct system walk-down and Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) walk-down along with Client prior to performing commissioning activities.
22.Work with Telecom, PAGA system, CCTV system, Security Access and Attendance system, Meteorological system, Microwave line-of-sight radio, Fence Intrusion Detection system, OTN system, DTS system, TETRA radio system, Aeronautical radio system, Marine radio system, Telephone system and Structured cabling system
23.Assist the Commissioning Task Force for engineering issues respective to his/her discipline.
24.Provide Technical Services to Operations (P&M), as required.
25.Participate in ASME / ISO 9001 Accreditation / Certification Audit Programs, as required.
26.Support training and development of junior personnel
