JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITES:
To carry out Maintenance Mechanical jobs (Preventive, Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for Garage Equipment’s Listed below (Overhead cranes and chain hoists) according to schedule in SAP system.
To carry out trouble shooting for reported problems perform rectifications.
To assist third party to carry out load test periodically based on recommendation all lifting Equipment.
To arrange own standard hand tools required to perform task.
To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety standards.
To check work quality, takes corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO policy.
Qualification & Experience:
3 year’s Diploma of associate Engineer in Mechanical after secondary school.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance related to mechanical maintenance of lifting equipment.
Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing.
Should be able to use all related tools in his field.
Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
Should be intelligent, creative and hard working.
Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
Should be holder of valid QATARI driving license.
2) LUBRICATION TECHNICIAN RESPOSIBILITIES:
To carry out lubrication all QAPCO Complex Equipment as per scheduled and follow up instructions and report abnormalities observed.
To do Oil make up with similar lubricant.
To do oil replacement, drain old oil, clean Housing / Tank / Vessel & refill new oil.
To do Lubrication Equip. having wire ropes including cleaning of old lubricant.
To do filling of oil & grease in automatic lubrication system wherever needed. To do oil sample collection & arrange to send for Lab Analysis.
To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety standards.
To check work quality, and take corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO policy.
Qualification & Experience:
3 year’s Diploma of Associate Engineer in Mechanical after passing secondary school certificate.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in lubrication filed.
Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawings.
Should be able to use all related tools in his field.
Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
Should be intelligent, creative and hard working.
Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
3) AUTO ELECTRICIAN RESPONSIBILITES:
To carry out Maintenance Auto Electrical jobs (Preventive, Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for all Qapco Complex Vehicles listed below (Mobile cranes, Forklifts, Diesel Engines, Fire Fighting Equipment (firefighting’s Trucks and Ambulances) according to schedule in SAP system.
To receive verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discusses drawing details. Clarify work requirements with QAPCO REPRESENTATIVE before implementation. Obtains all required work permits from QAPCO REPRESENTATIVE before commencing the assigned work.
To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety standards.
To check work quality, and takes corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO policy.
Qualification & Experience:
Years Diploma of Associate engineer in electrical after secondary school certificate.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial vehicle electrical activities.
Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing.
Should be able to use all related tools in his field.
Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
Should be intelligent, creative and hard working.
Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
Should be holder of valid QATARI driving license.
Should be holder of valid QATARI forklift driving license.
