Senior Engineer – Service – Irrigation Products

Position: Sr. Engineer – Service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales of irrigation spare parts, service, and customer annual service / maintenance contracts for Irrigation projects, testing and commissioning after sales of irrigation system.
  • Manage irrigation troubleshooting.
  • Manage irrigation programming on central control irrigation system.
  • Should have comprehensive knowledge about irrigation components like various types of Sprinklers, drip line, emitter, Spray heads, Valves and Solenoid Valves in irrigation systems.
  • Should be able to fix Sprinkler Irrigation system, Drip irrigation systems, micro irrigation systems.
  • Develop service marketing activities, go to market strategies and customer support package for each new installation. This includes recommended irrigation and landscape spare parts stocking and annual service contracts.
  • Manage and advise service facilities for new and existing customers and monitor the collection of receivables for after sales service.
  • To provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast of Service sales.
  • Monitors market and adapts strategies for business development.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and new customers to generate leads and repeat business.
  • Building capabilities for dealers’ service engineers and deploying them for revenue generation through AMCs, Services, and Irrigation Spares parts.
  • Ensuring proactive service calls for generating revenue from service, AMC, and Irrigation spares parts.
  • Present products or services in the irrigation industry that would be beneficial to your client’s business.
  • Plan detailed presentations that show clients your product info, pricing, and benefits.
  • Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully market them.
  • Manage billing and delivery of irrigation and landscaping products.
  • Meet with clients at appointments for sales presentations.
  • Follow up on solid products to ensure the customer is happy.
  • Stay knowledgeable about your field’s updates in science, Technology, and research by continuing to read and study new data.
  • Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation engineering, with a strong emphasis on system service and maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Engineer – Projects (Audio Visual)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Audio Visual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, and managing AV projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Engineer will collaborate with clients, sales teams, and technical staff to deliver innovative AV solutions that meet the specific needs of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of AV systems.
  • Ensure all AV installations comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams and subcontractors.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or changes promptly.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary equipment and materials.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and change orders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present project updates, designs, and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
  • Gather client feedback and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ensure all AV systems are installed and configured to meet quality standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits of installed systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on-site.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AV system design and project management.
  • Proficiency in AV design software and AV control systems.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, including audio, video, control systems, and networking.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
