Job Description:

Minimum Educational Qualification Required: B.E/B.Tech (Civil)
15+ Years Experience, in that at least 8+ Years Experience in Oman or Gulf
Must have Experience in Construction / Consultancies

The role of the Commercial Manager is, to manage cost planning, value engineering, feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis, lifecycle costing, valuation, and cost estimation in a construction project

Preparing estimates, feasibility studies and budgets for building projects
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Pricing/estimating for building projects and tenders
Assessing Quantity from drawings/ specifications
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Valuing completed work and arranging payments
Need to liaise with main contractors, sub contractors and other parties involved the projects , engineer and sales department
Monitoring and reporting on project costs
Preparation and submission of invoices and follow up for payments with the client/consultant
Responsible for his own safety and health
Ensure that his actions will not jeopardize the safety or health of other employees
Report all accidents / injuries and near misses make suggestions to improve any aspect of health and safety
Follow the established procedures if accidents occur
